Most afternoons, evenings and weekends FREEDOM TAE KWANDO is a lively martial arts dojo/studio for kids and youth. It has a wonderful : airy, colorful, respectful, inspiring and cheerful. It is a good place for kids to be safe, active, develop goals and self esteem. If i had children, i would definitely bring them here. When you meet the teacher, Martial Arts GrandMaster Gonzalez you will see why. He is friendly, kind, cheerful , knowledgeable, creative and resourceful. He clearly passes good values on to his kids. And he has got his students safely thru the Pandemic with innovative online classes.
In the mid-mornings, a few of us adults come all the way from Santa Cruz, another from San Jose, others from closer by, to enjoy a multigenerational (20s to 80s) wheelchair accessible fitness course called Stick Yoga. We are led thru very effective stretches and strengthening exercises.
I am stronger, leaner and more fit than i find myself in traditional yoga classes. Maybe because its fun! Our teacher, Martial arts GrandMaster Jay Dunston is lighthearted and rigorous at the same time, a wonderful soul and teacher. Everyone’s soul and positive energy comes thru in this class. We encourage snd learn from each other and our own progress. For some it is a perfect warm up for the adult martial arts class that follows. For me it is simply a fabulous workout and community experience..I am so grateful! 🌟⭐️🌟⭐️⚡️
