“I was having trouble because I play guitar and my arm was sore and aching I was referred by a friend and went to Stephanie's studio and she gave me the most excellent massage. I was impressed by her calming music, her touch and her vibe. I was asked where does it hurt? and she was able to identify the muscles and worked on the arm. During the massage and nice music, she was able to take the pressure in my arm away. I was so relieved because I was going to play guitar for the weekend and I have never felt better!! thank you Stephanie!!”

“We love Santa Cruz Parkour. Our 9YO son has been going for the past few years. We’ve also encourages six other friends to sign up and they love it too! Our son loves climbing trees and setting up physical challenges for himself. He has great upper body strength. Santa Cruz Parkour helps to work on his physical skills and strength as well as challenges him to push himself just a little bit further with each session. My son says that he likes “everything” about it.”

“Great spacious gym, but hours are meh (can pay more for any time access but you will be asked to leave if you are there after closing as a normal member, which is very early on weekends, I think 6 on saturdays). Equipment is old but in good shape. Outside area is awesome. Staff is friendly, gym is kept very clean.”

“Junebugs is a popular for gymnastics classes, they’re often fully booked so you might have to first enter a waitlist. The cricket classes are great, with a lot of instructors to help so you don’t have to worry that your kid is going to get themselves hurt. Classes are well structured with just the right amount of ‘learning’ and ‘play’ mixed in. They start with a warm up during circle time and conversation. Then do a ‘station based’ circuit and end with a fun zip line activity.”

“Great facility, always improving and most knowledgable staff. No better way to do crossfit than with a bunch of Phisical Therapists as coaches. 10/10 would recommend.”

“As an associate (community member, not a student) this is a pretty good gym. Even without the discount the membership price is low. The gym overlooks the ocean, and the equipment is all new. The only problem is parking- be there before noon or after 5pm.”

“Brand-spankin' fresh out the box new renovations make this a perfectly glorious pool in which to swim. The Hardware: New resurfacing of their outdoor 50 meter pool Crystal clear waters of perfect temperature Deep gutters and sturdy lane ropes (properly tightened) to help decrease the wake Standard, but clean locker-room The Fluff: Spectacular setting next to UCSC's East field, with exceptional vistas over town and out to the ocean. You can go for a good workout, than lay on the grass, watching the clouds make Slug mascot shapes as they roll back over the ocean. The Logistics: If you aren't a student, you can swim here by way of joining their excellent Masters team or (according to the website) by purchasing a "Wellness Pass." I know that gastropods like water, so perhaps it's no surprise that the UCSC Banana Slugs made this the crown jewel of their sports facilities. I'd gladly swim here every day if I lived down here. (Don't worry, no actual slugs in the pool!)”

“I enjoyed my time with Dr. Mozayan. I had an implant done, and it was a breeze thanks to him. He was very knowledgable, thorough, and mixes in a bit of humor. He was also very good about following up and communicating with my primary dentist. Hopefully, I won't need another implant, but if I do, I will gladly revisit Dr. Mozayan.”
