Castle Rock Entrance Station Parking Lot

Nice getaway from the busy city! Was pleasantly surprised by this park considering how close it is to the cramped South Bay area. The are always lots of cars, as expected for an awesome place not too far away. However, it doesn't feel like there are lots of people around or on the trails since they are spread out nicely. Well maintained trail system and lots of climbing options. This is a local rock climbers Oasis. The parking lot is pricey and almost always full. However, you can park for free along part of the road. A NOTE TO ANIMAL LOVERS: there are no dogs allowed on the trails. Sorry... (If this review was helpful, please hit the like button below)

it was an amazing experience hiking with my friends and having such a great time at this beautiful place.

I highly recommend this place to everyone that loves nature.

This is the central parking lot useful to access kits if hiking trails and rock climbing nearby. The lot itself is pay for, but there are surrounding parking areas on the street that are free. You can get to the castle rock loop trail from here, but I mostly go for the rock climbing at the falls, castle rock, and Indian rock. On weekends this fills up fast, must be hereby 8:30am at the latest or risk having to park 1/2 a mile up the road.
