after taking delivery of a brand new Super73 e-bike the day before, I discovered a leak in the hydraulic brake system. after a few calls to bike shops in Vacaville with no availability until the following week, I expanded my search to Dixon. I called Fisk's and he told me to bring it in and he could get it back to me by the following day at 3pm. I delivered my bike to him about 30 minutes later and told him how anxious I was to get it back. he said "be here tomorrow at 3 and it'll be ready for you." well less than 4hrs later he called and told me it was ready and the repairs were made. amazing customer service, convenient location, and a super cool owner (that sounds like a computer when he answers the phone). I'll absolutely be back and recommending him to everyone I can.

I am so excited to have discovered this gem in Dixon. I spoke to Jim Saturday morning as I had a question and had left a voicemail. He returned my call even before he officially opened. He was very kind and right then and there I decided to drive over there and bring in my bike to have a tuneup and a little TLC. I mentioned that I wanted to get a shock absorbent seat post due to pain in my tailbone and glutes. He came out to see my bike in the car and brought it inside for me. He even educated me about the type of riding that I am doing and the step through style bike because of the pedal position is part of my reason for the pain I described and most likely why I van only ever seem to ride 20 miles. While my sister on her hyprid can do more. It was a very comfortable visit and I look forward to going back and recommending this shop to friends! I go Tuesday to pick up my bike but am going to start dropping hints to Jeff about wanting a hybrid :)

Super nice owner. He seems really honest and direct about what my bike needed and did not need.
I called a number of other shops and Fisk’s Cyclery’s prices were far cheaper and he had a one day turnaround from drop off to pickup (no scheduling needed).

As another commenter stated, we come from Vacaville to get the bikes serviced here. Jim is friendly and very practical. He embraces a philosophy of actually repairing/servicing rather than just selling you a new bike. That said, he does keep a nice inventory of new bikes on the floor. He keeps the shop neat and organized. I feel business owners like him are becoming a rarity, and it's refreshing to work with guys like him.
