(April 27, 2019, 4:26 pm)This is a nice neighborhood park. It has play equipment for all ages and big lawn areas if you want to play catch. The trees are mature and offer shade. We like to walk the wide perimeter sidewalks with our leashed dog and children, when they are not playing on the equipment . I marked down one star for dog owners who take their dogs off leash. This is especially concerning when the dogs are pit bulls, which seem to be in overabundance in Dixon. Our dog is on leash and completely freaks out when one of these "free to be" dogs take notice! People, if your dog can't socialize at the dog park, then they need to be kept on leach, as the law requires!
(February 8, 2019, 6:50 pm)Nice little park. Large enough for the dog to get a run and for us to enjoy a lovely stroll around the perimeter. Small gym for the younger kids and a few picnic tables.
