  My mother was at another facility and they did not have the resources to care for her properly. We moved her to Voralto and she has been very well cared for.. The staff is the star of this facility. They treat the patients like family and it is very apparent they they genuinely care.

  my name is Carolyn campbell my mother has been at this facility a year MR Darnell has been very helpful when I ask him to take care of any problem he is right on it I believe he is a fair and caring person most of the staff that I have meet that has taken care of my mother seen to care one person that I have talked with most of the time that I visit I believe her name is yolo she is so caring the are others the med tech as well It would be helpful if there was more staff to gave more personal attention to some of the residents just to talk with them or be around them if possible Also it would be helpful if there was a way to keep up with residents shoes I feel comfortable that my mom is being care for because she can not speak for her self

  My loved one was at another memory care/assisted living facility for 3 years. Because his dementia was progressing a few months ago, I had no choice but to move him to a facility that could provide a higher level of care. I toured several facilities in the Fairfield/Vacaville area and chose Voralto after hearing great things about the caregivers/staff. I visited 4-5 times before I moved him and every time I was greeted with smiles from the caregivers/staff and felt welcome. He's been at Voralto for about 6 weeks now. He settled in quickly and is content, happy and taking his meds. That was not the case at the previous facility. I go every day to see him and I'm greeted by name, smiles from caregivers/staff and they always know where he is so I know right where to find him. I have witnessed them re-directing agitated residents in seconds. I am so impressed with Voralto and happy after making the difficult decision to move him. I don't worry now like I did. My stress level has now been reduced drastically....I wish I would have moved him sooner!! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it is an older facility but it's clean. Before the move-in, they freshly painted the room, new blinds and was thoroughly cleaned so it was pretty when he arrived there. I highly recommend Voralto!!!

  Nobody wants to need this business. But when you need it, there is a great need for trust. I did not have blind trust, as I depended on professionals to guide me. And I have a friend who is a retired nurse who has been my personal adviser. Our geriatric therapist at Kaiser told me that I have two responsibilities. My loved one needs to be safe and he needs to be comfortable. After being his 24/7 caregiver for 3 years, his care became more than I could do. I visit at least once a week and have had excellent response from the staff and managers when I had a concern. I have learned that this world of dementia has different rules. I have had to learn how things are handled in this world. I have excellent support from our doctors at Kaiser who communicate with me and the staff at Voralto. My partner is eating better there than he was eating at home. I am relieved to understand that he has rights and that restraints are not used. I am finally able to relax knowing that he is safe and comfortable. He has freedom to walk all over the building as well as being able to go outside at will. I am happy that he has this freedom while living with this disease. I spent two months crying while going through the transition of moving him. I am not crying anymore. Thankful to have this option available for us. The staff works hard and has shown great compassion doing this difficult job.
