I gave it four stars because there are no restrooms or water. I guess the idea is you can use those once you are on the train, but what if you have a long wait for a train?
The entranceway goes under the tracks, and there are both stairs and wheelchair ramps.
They did think ahead when planning this station, the only developed parking is on the NW side, but there are stairs and ramps to the SE side, which I assume they are going to open once that side gets more development.
There is a point to this station. The train station is the focal point for significant growth in northeast Fairfield that is estimated to generate more than 5,000 units of housing, 1,650 acres of parks and open space, 300 acres of industrial land, and 50 acres of commercial use land. We will all be thankful for the train station and overpass when that whole area is developed.
