  Wonderful beach, we landed with our own speed boat, enjoyed, restroom and parking is quite easy

  Good camping experience! We really liked our big corner lot. Be aware of racoons at night, and bring an outlet adapter if you're using tents. They only have RV electrical hook up outlets. There is also a hum in the distance from the windmills, but it was a white noise that was easy to block out. Rio Vista is a cute little town just 5 mins away from the campground with gas and groceries if you need to run and get anything. You can't swim in the river, but the Riverside is nice to walk along. Bathrooms were very low quality, I would not plan on showering at this campground. Overall, a fun little book to hide away in without being too far from civilization.

  Love it here! Make sure to bring a pop up for the beach! Very hot & no shade. Sand is blazing hot too! Had a great time!

  I was pleasantly surprised about this place. The camp sites were huge, I could have put out 10 tents easily. I parked my truck and trailer on the camp site and could fit one more car. We had site #27 which seemed to be the worst site here as it had a small hill right next to the trailer door but we managed just fine. All of the other sites were flat and more than half of the sites had trees on them.
  This place was very busy (weekend). During the day people came for day use and the beach was completely full of pop ups and people. That being said the water was perfect temperature, not too cold, not warm. It was hot (106*) so I'm glad the water wasn't warm. The beach was sandy and nice on the feet. You could walk out in the water off the beach for 15 yards at least and the water was calm with no current.
  Something to be noted not as a negative. There are a little more rules at this place and there are rangers and sheriff that patrol very frequently. Just know the rules and you should be fine. The rangers were nice, I didn't talk with the sheriff but he patrolled at least every half hour especially at night which I didn't mind at all.
  I would go back for sure.

  Nice and quiet. Other swimmers were smiling and having fun. Didn't care for boat coming to shore instead of boat ramp or dock to exchange friends for a boat ride. All in all a great day. Oh ! Watch for bees.
