  I have been employed at SSAC Detox now since July 2019 and I have to say it's the most rewarding job I have ever had. If you're looking for an amazing start to your recovery this is the place to go. The staff care so much about the clients and truly want to see them succeed. Plus the food is a great plus....thank you George...and thank you SSAC Detox!

  This detox is such an asset to Solano County. There are detoxes in other counties that are horrible places to be. Here everyone is caring and friendly. They feed you very well (shoutout to George’s cooking). Everyone has one chore and this manages to keep the facilities clean. Besides the one chore and one in-house AA/NA meeting per day you are free to be in your room asleep or in the day room watching movies, playing cards, reading, etc. You can even do laundry if needed. The people who come in for the H&I meetings are super nice. There is actually an excellent sober living attached to this place and you will meet some of these residents at the meetings. ThIs male-only sober living is an option down the line once you get some clean-time. It is nice for new detox clients to see that this is obtainable. Thank you to everyone who runs this place! You are awesome and do great work!

  The Director of the program is so professional, he always goes above and beyond when working with the clients and their familys.
