Good little hike down to beach and back up. Beach is pretty plain but quiet and relaxing due to the hike to get there. Parking has bathrooms which is a big plus.
Spring has sprung, if your looking for pops of color and a good solid trail look no further, this trail has it all. Our first time here and loved it. The views are priceless, free parking. They do except donations but not Mandatory. Dogs are allowed. Poppies are in full bloom along the trail, shoots of purple and pink flowers, creek running into ocean. Trail is approximately 2 miles round trip.
High or low tide the kids always have fun. Walk is extremely doable and parking is easy.
Don't miss out. Be there
It isn't the longest hike, about a mile down to the ocean. you can bend walk along the beach until another trail take you back up to the road. Be mindful of the tides, because crossing the beach at high tide can. be a risky venture
But the beach itself is beautiful, and not very crowded. At low tide you can walk for quite a while. It's all relatively easy and very accessible.
