Also great that they serve free chips and salsa. I live in SF so the quality standards are fairly different but hey it’s a good food and the staff is friendly.”

“This restaurant was a fabulous experience all throughout. As you walk in, it may not greatly stand out as a fancy place, but every aspect of dining here was phenomenal. Starting off with the appetizers, my family got the fresh oysters, the yellowtail, and a couple of salads for the table. Each dish provided a huge variety of flavor and was absolutely delicious. However, the winner of the appetizers would have to be the fresh oysters. Then for the entree, I got the duck breast. The duck was cooked perfectly; very tender and succulent. Can confidently say one of the best duck dishes I have ever had. One thing that also impressed me was the presentation of each plate; each one came out as if it was prepared to be presented in front of a judge on a cooking show. Service was also moderately fast and very friendly. Overall an outstanding experience and would recommend to anyone looking for a dining option in the Bodega Bay Area.”

“I love this shop, this review comes a little late but they were kind enough to ship an item that I picked out for my wife for Christmas. They did great and kept it a surprise, slipped me a card and told me how to order by phone. It came wrapped in a nice little tote that she is using today.”

“We had a wonderful time at this beautiful home. Our two boys had their own rooms and were very comfortable in their beds. Our bedroom had a gas fireplace and provided a great nights sleep. The beach access is easy and the home is equipped with everything you need. Mia is quite accessible and is a joy to deal with. We hope to come back again sometime!”

“Totally decent. Not a fancy place but a nice place to stop. I had the chowder in a bread bowl. The bread is fantastic but gets soggy quickly. The steak fries were surprisingly good. The deep fried shrimp looked a little overdone but I didn't try them and my friend didn't seem to mind. Our server was very friendly and we were helped by at least 3 other guys delivering bread, refilling water, bussing plates, and just being very attentive. The desserts looked amazing. I definitely wish we had saved room. The warm bread and butter with dinner was fantastic, don't change that. So delicious. Good view and parking is easy”

“My favorite place to rent a room or a house when visiting the coast. The Pelican house has two sides with a yard and a shared hot tub. It's also right on the bay, walk out on the shoreline when the tide goes out and you'll find beautiful crabs and views. Go back up to the Bodega Harbor Inn for breakfast, sit on the Adirondack chairs, listen to the fog horn and watch the bay. Good way to vacation. Great people every time includes their helpful team and friendly guests.”

“Please stop and visit this gem. We stopped and truly enjoyed the visitors center. We stopped in for directions and enjoyed the Birds memorabilia from Alfred Hitchcock. I wish I would have got the lady's name that helped us, but she was so friendly and helped us plan out our day in Bodega Bay. We followed her suggestions and had the best day ever.”
