“I brought my car to Nor-Cal transmission because it was making a new noise that sounded like drive train noise. A very knowledgeable and kind mechanic there test drove my car very thoroughly, checked it for codes, checked the transmission fluid, and after thorough test drive identified a different source of the noise and also jacked up the car to further pinpoint and verify the source of the problem- which was not even a repair they do at Nor-Cal. Nor Cal then assured me the car was safe to drive, and referred me to another shop or said I could wait until the noise got louder before addressing it. I pulled out my check book since they had spent close to an hour w me and my car... no charge.
