Donatello's Take & Bake Pizza

I love this place... used to be a weekly stop on Thursday nights for the amazing 3 for $30 deal... Sadly ever since card services stopped working it's been tough to make sure I am carrying cash and they haven't closed early. Really really miss it.. great and giant stuffed mushrooms are awesome and cheesy bread to die for. Great owner with a great personality.. the food shows his love and the shop shows his entertaining style! Highly recommended.

I've been coming to this place since I moved to modesto in 2019, and let me tell you, The pizza here is excellent! They also have wings and calzones, deserts and gluten free options. If you're an 80 is baby you will love the decor, because there's tons of Ninja Turtles, WWF wrestlers, as well as He-Man and Mr. T to greet you when you come in!! The owner is amazing and personable! This is a small business with a big heart and huge appreciation for their customers. So please don't hesitate to come on in and make them next favorite pizza place.

Just picked up my calzone, and popped it in the oven, the house immediately smelled amazing. I like the garlic and herb spread that is over the top of the calzone. Fantastic pizza.

It has been since living in San Francisco that I have had a flavorful and golden brown calzone. Bryan the Pizza Guy is a joy to talk to and puts love in each of his handmade creations. Why go to any other Take-n-Bake when you can have perfection. Fresh ingredients, plentiful topings and crispy top crust (calzone) are yours out of your own oven. Donatella Pizza should be your "goto" for homemade pizza in the Modesto Area. "Cowabunga, dude"

What a great experience! Brian the owner was awesome, friendly, and the pizza was top notch. This is gourmet take and bake but with great prices. Very impressed. Can't wait to try more of the menu and support this place. The crust and ingredients were phenomenal! My family was happy and ate every last bite!
