Earlier this month I rented a car for my wife was taking a trip to Arizona. Along the way they had some car trouble. Without going into the details, she had some trouble with the Avis offices trying to replace the car.

When I contacted Fernando and informed him of the problems we were encountering at the Arizona offices he was very apologetic and surprised at their lack of customer service. He explained that their actions were out of his control and wished there was something he could to do help. He explained Avis offices could be independently owned and there was little he could do.

My wife returned back to Modesto frustrated with the experience she had in Arizona. Fernando again was very apologetic for the experience she encountered in Arizona. Although he was not at fault for their actions, he did something to correct the issue.

I started worked in retail during my high school and college years. The places I worked always made customer service paramount. Unfortunately, I have seen its decline over the past twenty years I have seen its decline. Fernando actions caught me a bit off guard. It was a very nice gesture, but more importantly, it showed me that some people still believe in customer service.

Those working in Arizona had the opportunity to fix the problem. It was a simple fix and we were not asking for any type of upgrade or compensation. Unfortunately, they had the it's your problem not ours mentality and turned us away. I think that they could learn a lot about customer service from Fernando and his actions.

I rented a car from the avis budget on pelendale ave in modesto i rented the car from i believe his name was fernando.. I reserved the car online i reserved a compact car when i got there all he had was a small suv he gave it to me for the same price.. The car ran great had no problems i loved the car great gas milage also.. i had it for a little over a week i took the car to reno and back.. I returned the car yesterday and returning the car was a breeze the manager fernando is so respectful and nice i definitely recommend him and this budget avis for all your rental needs they are the best hands down..
