I need to apologize...
Mother’s Day, very busy station as expected. The pump #5 wouldn’t take my credit card and directed me to go inside to pay where I was told I had to give a specific dollar amount. I asked if I didn’t use it all, (it wasn’t my vehicle), would the actual amount be deducted or would I have to come back in. The gentleman behind the counter had a very heavy accent and I have some hearing loss... and there were a lot of people talking around me. I asked three times to be sure before leaving thinking I didn’t have to come back in.
Stressed, I didn’t look at the amount on the pump or get a receipt...
and then I see the entire sixty withdrawn from my account. I guess I was just surprised that little car took that much...
I phoned Arco and left a message about this still thinking I was overcharged. I just spoke with my friend with me, the owner of the car, and she did say it stopped pumping at sixty.
Anyway, I do apologize...
