5/30/22 Update: After a visit with my 82 year old mother today, I see she has been bathed and the staff has been supervising her while she brushes her teeth. The room was clean and her nails are trimmed. I will continue to monitor her care at Paramount and revise to 5 stars if this level of care remains consistent.
2/25/22 Update: It has been 10 months since my mother was admitted to Paramount Court, and after dozens of visits I feel like the quality of care has gone down. I doubt we are getting most of the services we pay for. She is hardly ever bathed and the last time I visited her she had an eye infection which the staff failed to notice. Her pillows were filthy. This is in spite of the recent rate increase that started in January, which I am happy to pay as long as they maintain proper staffing levels.
Paramount Court is an excellent choice for families that need extended memory care for their aging loved ones. The facility is beautiful, secure, and the staff provides a personalized experience for each resident, rather than treating them like cattle (which was our experience at a previous facility). After a tour of the site, I knew this where I wanted mom. Joanne went to work immediately, going above and beyond to coordinate my mother's intake. Rohaib is an expert at assessing and coordinating medical and support needs for each resident. The support staff are friendly and encourage and support the residents' social and lifestyle needs. They offer many physical and social activities for the residents, have an on-site hair salon, and have transportation available. My mother likes the food and her accommodations. They offer move-in discounts and were patient and flexible with us regarding payments. My only (small) complaint was that the cable TV in my mom's room wasn't ready at move-in. Paramount Court gave my mom a safe, clean, wholesome, and secure environment...and gave my family and I peace of mind!
I have only toured the place at this point. It was awesome. Clean and airy inside. Not inexpensive but for what the cost entails it’s probably worth it with all the amenities . Joanne the marketing director gave me the tour and she was quite nice and very informative. And I got a pie.
Our family members were very pleased with the care our 94 year old father received from the staff of Paramount Court in the last six weeks of his life! After more than six years years of caring for our father in his home, he needed around the clock assistance, which we could not safely give him. It was then that we contacted Paramount Court and were warmly welcomed by Joann, Anneka and Tony. They helped us in helping our father make the stressful transition from his home of 31 years to a studio apartment in their facility. Once he was there, two of our father's caregivers took the time to help him in two daily ways: one helped him with operating his TV and the other delivered his meal to him last on her rounds so that she could sit and feed him! Since my wife and I visited my father daily, the staff at Paramount Court felt like extended family and for that we are grateful!
My sister and I were impressed with the new updated interior at Paramount. Joann is a most compassionate person to work with. She herself has an elderly mother she cares for and understands the emotions of finding a safe, clean and well-attended environment for our mother.
I highly recommend Paramount Court for your dear family member or members. I looked at several assisted living and memory care facilities in Stanislaus County, and Paramount Court stood out from the rest. The personal touch, one on one focus, their SPARK program, cleanliness, levels of care, meal options, large rooms, and the service from the Marketing Director, Joann Wright, and Administrator Tony Montellano. Joann is wonderful. She answered all my questions and worked with me through the whole transition. She is still available for me, and I fully appreciate that.
Tony, the administrator, was pleasant to work with and accommodating to our needs. I have a very close-knit family, and placing my dad in memory care, and my mom in assisted living is difficult, but we know it is the best decision. Joann helped us make the right decision with her vast knowledge.
I feel the Paramount Team is part of our family because of their genuine compassion. I cannot thank each of them enough.
Gratefully,
Karin S. Weller and Weller Family
