(May 15, 2021, 7:11 pm)Beautiful hiking trails that are the perfect destination for anyone seeking solitude. In my three day stay I did not see one other backpacker. With that being said, the trails are not well kept and it is very very easy to get lost. I found myself hiking off the trail multiple times, sometimes for miles at a time trying to find the trail. Breaking out my map and compass was a frequent routine. Side note: do not trust Tom Harrison's map for the Golden Trout Wilderness. Much of the information is outdated. Overall, worth your time but I would not do it again without a GPS. Cheers!
