I’ve been with Dr. Reddy for 4 years (and a couple weeks if we’re being 100% accurate). When I started with him, I was in a very, very terrible place with my mental health. I have treatment resistant depression, and at that point had spent a lot of time not being fully listened to by previous providers. I went in hesitant with Dr. Reddy, but he pretty quickly eased my worries. We’d try a new medication, I’d to the typical amount of time with it that you’re supposed to give meds to fully titrate, and if I wasn’t 100% satisfied with the results, neither was he. Go figure, the medications that work for me are the ones that don’t yet have generics, and my insurance doesn’t cover them. I’ve never had to worry, except for some waiting, he always had it taken care of. And he’s always, always made sure that waiting period didn’t mean I was going without anything I needed. On two separate occasions, I’ve approached him about wanting to try certain treatments that may or may not have worked for me— he made them happen and more importantly, made sure they were actually accessible to me. When one didn’t work, and was overwhelming me, he heard me. The other one did and is currently working for me, and I can honestly tell how genuinely happy he is that it’s been effective and that I’m feeling better. This man is BUSY and I see first hand the time and dedication he puts forth for his patients. it might sound dramatic, but Dr. Reddy saved my life. Not necessarily saved it from ending, but he certainly saved it from being something I simply had to cope and deal with. He’s helped me actually appreciate and enjoy the life I’m living.
Dr. Reddy is wonderful! I know he has my best interests at heart and I trust that the treatment plan he has me on will benefit me in the near future. I’m on medication at the moment and though I’m a bit nervous about it, I completely trust his process. It’s only been about a month and I already feel sooo much better! And btw, some one star reviews here are usually just upset patients that don’t like to hear the honest truth or they don’t get the Rx increase they requested. Some people aren’t genuinely interested in healing properly. Dr Reddy doesn’t recommend Rx treatment unless it’s absolutely necessary and he’ll wean you off safely and in a timely manner. He’s professional, easy to talk to and he respects you as a patient. I recommend him 100% if your looking to improve and heal your mental health. Thank you Dr. Reddy, you have been a true blessing to me.
For those that are saying Dr. Reddy just looks at his computer the entire visit - He takes very detailed notes. My child has been seeing Dr. Reddy for almost 3 years and he takes the time to listen to her and address each and every concern. Dr. Reddy is a great doctor, despite what some of these reviews say.
My only complaint would be his staff. When labs are sent, I believe the office staff is supposed to give you the form or instruction. On disability paperwork his staff wrote in a date of death, which they thought was a date of onset. For other disability paperwork they literally only had to check one box, enter her diagnosis codes, sign and date. Instead they answered each and every question in the questionnaire, which had a lot misspelling and partially incorrect information.
When we do need a medication refill, I have discovered the best course of action is to utilize the Healow app that Dr. Reddy uses. You can request a refill to fill the gap between running out of meds and your next appointment.
If you only need less than a weeks worth, you can actually talk to the pharmacy and they will “loan” you medication, as your medication is already in file.
Advocate for yourself. If the people at the front accidentally called in the wrong quantity to the pharmacy, don’t pick the medication up and immediately call the office for a correction.
Well it seems like you either love him or really dislike him. I have been going to him for over 3 years and I have never seen him rude or unprofessional.
He has always been sensitive to me. When I first came to him I was a big mess. He worked with my meds until we found what works best for me. I feel better now more than ever. Now I’m just a little bit of a mess.
I like him so much that I have brought my two older kids to see him. I see a big difference in them as well. Unfortunately they have inherited a long line of depression that runs in my family.
If you are planning to see him please bring an open mind. Give him a chance not everyone is perfect and neither is he. But, he does his best to help people in need.
Thank you so much Dr. Reddy.
