(July 16, 2022, 10:59 pm)I cannot speak for other people who have left comments, but I actually grew up in this church and school. Sequoia Baptist Church does not pretend to be something it's not just to get you in and get that 10%. This is a church led by a legitimate man of God. Pastor Benefield didn't inherit this church or "get the job". He followed God's calling and started it from nothing. Along with Brother Wilson, you can't find more genuine and devoted servants.

(May 18, 2021, 1:09 am)This is a friendly Church where the Bible is preached, old fashioned hymns are sung, and the sinless life, sacrificial death, and glorious resurrection Of Jesus Christ is the core of the message you'll hear. Some places offer self-help, feel-good pep talks, lite on the truth, along with a rock concert.. but here, the focus is on God's Word, How to receive salvation and know it because the Bible says you can know it, and then how to walk with the Lord as a Christian should - which is what we all need to hear. Come for a visit!

My family has grown immensely through the ministry of Sequoia Baptist Church. I would wholeheartedly recommend Sequoia Baptist Church to anyone searching for a loving church that makes the truth of God's Word the most important thing.
