(February 15, 2019, 1:55 am)We spent Valentines at The Manhattan. Food and ambience was excellent. The Pianist was fantastic. During dining, he played all the romantic favorites. Everybody clapped. Perfect ambience. Later the crowd encouraged him to open it up a bit, and he brought the house down. He played Elton John, Billy Joel, Beatles, Van Morrison, Eric Clapton, Jackson Browne. We were in heaven. Everyone was singing. Some couples were dancing. We don't get down this way often, but our friends who brought us here, said they've heard Neil before. The entire crowd loved him. The rooms at The Manhattan are gorgeous. Our waiter, Ed was terrific. So nice. A perfect Valentines!

▪ I was surprised to see that they did not offer spaghetti and meatballs. I am an Italian from Manhattan and this is a dish that my mother fixed frequently.
▪Other than that, the food here is excellent. All of the people in our party commented on how good their particular meal was...
▪Also this was a very noisy environment, but I suppose it was noisy because it was a Saturday night. When the music started it was impossible. We had to sit outside in order to talk to one another even before the music.
(January 4, 2019, 9:08 pm)Specifically writing as to The Manhattan's addition of their new pianist, Neil Elliott Dorval . He is amazing. We felt like we were at a concert. Brilliant musicianship, & perfect for the house. We have been here before and highly recommend that they do not use the other musicians they had there prior. Not fitting. Lots of different music in his song list. So talented. Perfect ambience & volume for the room. Hopefully he will be there on weekends too, not just Thursday nights. Camarillo needed something like this. We will be back! Always great food and awesome room.
(December 9, 2018, 5:17 pm)The server, Tom, always does a great job. Food is always delicious. Had the Lamb Chops and they were outstanding!! They have the best bolognese in the valley. Try this place out mid week as they run a special for house wine that is addictive.
