The staff is very positive and encouraging; the coastline and mountains are serene; and the diet + exercise leave you feeling fantastic by the weeks' end. One should definitely follow their preparation advice once enrolled. Those in my group who did not suffered unnecessarily. I would also advise using wool hiking socks and a size-larger pair of shoes to avoid blisters during the ~10 miles of hiking per day which is part of their program.”

“This was a fun hike that's recommended for kids 6 and up. Majority of the hike is a regular path, but getting down to the water requires climbing over and under rocks and boulders. That part was a challenge but a lot of fun. In the summer and fall months there isn't a lot of water, but winter and spring you'll find points in the hike that you'll be getting wet so bring shoes that you're ok getting wet. The kids brought their bathing suits”
