Amazing stag and super fun golf course!

Truly exceptional facility, service and staff. Management is doing absolute job to provide 100% customer satisfaction. Employees will walk you through premises and explain everything. Just want to say WOW. This should be role mode for any resort. I would give 10 stars if I could. Good job and Thank you again

Loads of great things, and only a few minor niggles

Pros
- Super spacious property with beautifully maintained and manicured greens and areas. Views of the mountains are really amazing
- lots of places to eat from Jimmys, Cafe, Oak and others
- Free Exercise classes - I tried Spin, Yoga and Stretch - more Hotel’s should do this. I was on my own on 2 of the days, but at weekends the spin/yoga class was packed - even turning people away so turn up 5-10 mins early.
- Free bikes to borrow with kids bikes available also - we cycled the bike trail into Ojai for lunch etc
- I took the kids to the driving range, only charged $5 for the club hire which I thought was good and they had kids sized clubs too
- The Pixie pool for the kids is a great size, with a paddling pool also and a jacuzzi. Plenty of umbrellas here. Was busier at weekends as expected, with some folks saying they came down from the adult pool as it was full. Plenty of beds here also. There is also free sun cream at the pool which i thought was a nice touch
- They have the best Vanilla shakes by the pool! Warning
- The staff are super attentive and helpful - always taking care to look out for the kids and us.
- the coffee shop is good with great service, good ice cream and a great selection of simpler breakfasts
- our room was spacious and well maintained. Clean and great service every day
- They have shuttles to get you everywhere (golf carts) but honestly nothing seems to be more than a 10 min walk so we didn’t use them
- Service from Victor in the Oak Restaurant over dinner was excellent.
- 411 has a large shared balcony across the bedroom and living room area.

Cons
- to use the Spa, even the sauna/steam etc you need to pay an additional $75 entry, unless you book a treatment
- However, treatments in the spa are 2-3x usual cost elsewhere
- Our suite was next to a kitchen area (411) and a little noisy at night.
- It would have been good for more kids activities that didn’t need to send them to the Kids club at $100+ per day
- Its not cheap. Be prepared to be in a captive audience
- if you wanted a cabana in the kids pool area - it was either $150 or $200 per day - this seems excessive and only a few were rented out.

Overall, we really loved this place just note is pricey.
