“My mom has Alzhiemer's and we took her to the clinic for her annual check-up. They assigned Dr. Nelson to us. We really wanted her off of statins and I was ready for the big argument, but Dr. Nelson listened patiently and said fine. We asked if we could take her off of any other medications (we felt she was just on too many things), and he said he could cut the blood pressure medication in half since she had lost some weight (that's a good thing for mom) and her blood pressure was down. We felt that he listened and he explained things carefully. We decided to always ask for Dr. Nelson from now on. ”
