  Hole in the wall in a rundown strip mall. Don't let its neighbors fool you. Super clean and super friendly. Tried the chicharrón, carnitas, and lengua tacos. ???? All A+ but lengua will always have my taste buds. ♥ Table mates had enchiladas and burritos. No complaints. Plus homemade corn tortillas and horchata. Can't go wrong here. ????????

  Delicious food! Friendly service! I recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for authentic mexican food!!!

  The food is authentic Mexican food. The menu has a huge selection so there is something for everyone. The food comes out in a timely manner, is well plated so it looks as good as it smells, and it's delicious. The restaurant itself as well as the bathrooms are clean. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food is so good we haven't been able to take a picture before we start digging in. ????
  So far our family has been there twice and we have yet to be disappointed in anything that we've ordered. We try to order something new each time. We've eaten the following during these visits:
  ????Burritos: al pastor, de pollo
  Th al pastor was amazing with chunks of pineapple in the burrito. Chicken is well seasoned and not dry.
  ????Tacos: pollo,asada,carnitas,mole, pipián
  Chicken was well seasoned. Asada was good, hard to compete with the others. Carnitas was amazing. Mole had the flavors just right with enough sauce. Pipián was almost perfect, but it felt a little dry, maybe needed more sauce.
  ????Tortas: milanesa de res, milanesa de pollo
  The tortas are our favorite so far. The meat is seasoned and breaded perfectly. The amount of chipotle gives it the perfect kick while the avocado complements it. The bread is toasted just right. It all comes together. ????
  ????Empanadas: de queso, de tinga
  All the toppings complete the crispiness of the outside and the gooey delicious cheese or alternative filling.
  ????Chile relleno combination plate with rice and beans
  I love chile rellenos, they're my comfort food so I had to try them here and I wasn't disappointed. The rice could use a little work it just doesn't taste like arroz rojo.
  The tortillas for the tacos are homemade, not sure about the burrito ones. My 3 year old twins devoured the chicken burrito, chicken tacos, asada taco, and carnitas taco. They also took bites of everything else so I would say all their food is kid friendly and it's not necessary to just order from the kids menu for little ones even though there is one available.
  You should definitely try The Taco Shop.
  I know we'll keep going back to try to conquer the rest of the menu and to taste their frappés. The Gansito one sounds like it could take me back to my childhood.

  Very nice restaurant with a lovely atmosphere nestled in the corner of an otherwise unremarkable tiny shopping plaza. Tried a few different items and meats including al pastor, asada and lengua. They were mostly good with very generous amount of meats in the tacos and burritos, but a little on the dry side felt as if they were made quite a while beforehand and then reheated. This is likely not the case but nevertheless what it tasted like. All in all I would recommend to try it out and decide for yourself!

  This is a very clean and well put together restaurant. I ordered food for the first time there, today, and the food was excellent. The serving size complimented the price. The person there was also very pleasant, polite and professional.
