“Beautiful lookout point. Finding a place to park was a challenge and aggravating. We ended up parking in the entrance way to one of the gated communities directly across the street from the south entrance to the trail, (although I'm not sure if that was OK or not). It took me, my wife and three kids (ages 7,5,2) about 30 min at an easy walking pace to make it to the ponds. It was worth the trip in my opinion because of the lookout point, just watch where your walking, passed a local hiker who said they had seen a rattlesnake the week prior. It's a wide trail so as long as you stay in the center of the trail, you shouldn't have any issues. Water, sunblock and proper attire as always!”

“A great park with so many options for outdoor activities. Perfect for a family outing, watching local sports teams play or just a walk around the park. Pleasantly clean facilities for a park and plenty of spaces for cars.”

“Small park with a few playground equipment options for kids. The park has a basketball court and a grass area big enough to run some energy out.”

“There is plenty of parking, clean restrooms, a huge field, and the playground is big with lots of equipment for kids. It's also tucked away in a peaceful neighborhood. All that's missing is a shaded picnic area.”

“I love this park. Lots of open space, a walking trail, playground for the kids and a really cool little "Creek" with rocks to climb running through it. Great for energetic kids.”

“This is a great hike. There are lots of small areas you can go on this hike to make it easier, harder, shorter, or longer. I'd really recommend trying it out but be sure to bring plenty of water because it averages about 6 miles to and from the parking lot.”

“Well kept parking lot. Large lot with overflow parking (on the way in). Spaces specifically for horse trailers too. ”

“Gorgeous Hiking and Running. Take the Butte Trail (Santa Rosa Trailhead) for a beautiful 5.0 loop (great running as well). Take the hill in the beginning to get it over with and get your warm up on. You will see quail, deer, cacti and more California flora and fauna than you can shake a stick at. You will not however see a lot of folks (a plus). By the end of the trail, you will cross a stream (in the summer) or a river (in the winter) and return via the .50 mile trail that lead you to the trail turn off. A gorgeous hike especially in Spring. tip: I went one time after some particularly hard rains and met a ranger who said to proceed with caution as flash flooding was known to occur. In fact, a couple of folks had perished a few days prior so BE CAREFUL!”

“Absolutely gorgeous trail. Just went a couple weeks ago after the big rain and wow. SO green. There are rolling hills and while it’s green it looks like another country entirely. Pretty easy hike for beginners too! I can imagine it’s still pretty during the dry season, but a huge recommendation if you wanna explore open fields but stay local.”

“This hike is pretty nice. If you want to go for a good long hike you can walk from this trail around the the falls and back. It's almost 5 miles and is really fun. The parking is good here too. There's plenty in the lot and you can park on the street if you need to.”

“Nice hike to a really great waterfall. It's an easy hike, our 9 year old had no problem making it the entire way. We packed lunches and had lunch at the falls. There is also a covered place to stop along the way, the tee pee, where you can get out of the sun on a hot day. We've done the hike multiple times and the kids love it.”

“Very safe place to hike parents bring their children and everyone is super friendly. There's really populated areas but there are many hiking trails that are more secluded from others if you're more of a lone hiker.”

“GardenSoft is amazing! They have a unique product called PlantMaster that is state of the art and is constantly being updated and enhanced. They also develop websites on a national level which promote both water conservation and extraordinary landscape design. I have worked with them for many years and they are just good people. They really do a great job of promoting the industry and their customer service is top notch. Aces all the way!”
