Op
Iam currently a resedent 70 plus days. Coming out of
Chino State Prison. A 4 year plus term. If it hadn't been
For Cache Creek Lodge I would be in a mess of a situation at Home. They have given me the time and care I need to understand my addictions and to adjust myself to reentry in a very troubled Society. They have provided me with the simple necessity, food, clothing and roof over me. They provide Individual counseling, Group therapy and around the clock security. Its a safe place for my recovery.
Rehab!! Who ever wants to admit that they're broken and need a little rehabilitation. Well the ones that can will benefit the most from whAt this facility offers. There's a blackout period and that alone sends fear to most that come in. Fortunately is a necessary evil that allows you to be free for a moment and decide "what am i here for? How did i get here.? And where am i going after my time is up? No distractions from the outside worldly influences and by the time the blackout is lifted those 3 pertinent questions should be or may be answered.
If you ask they have the resources to get you going in the right direction as long as you follow the directions. It may seem strange to put your life in someones hands that you dont know, but maybe its better that way.
No need to worry about food, clothing or what ever it is that you fear you will be without. They want you to relax and let them do the worrying. What ever it is it'll be alright.
I did my time there more than once and more than 3 times. And i can tell you this. I have a college degree and have been around the globe twice, literally. And i never knew anything about ME until i went to Creek Cache Lodge..
Learning to submit and to sit down took some time. You want the spiritual aspect of needing balance? Its there too.
I could go on and on but seriously , its the best move i ever made after leaving fire camp of two years and coming home with money.
It was less strain on my spouse financially. I went to work saved that money.i was able to help out family with money issues. I bought my motorcycle while there. Left with more clothes than i knew what to do with.
And i left with a new sense of who i was how i got there and how i can work on this new way of living. It only hurt for a little bit.
4xs a client. 3 graduations. And some friendships that have gone on now for over 15years.staff included.!!
