“I want to thank I Care San Antonio for hosting the Icare4kids event 10/19/2019. I used to have good health benefits/vision benefits and just recently lost all my insurance due to a job change. I wasn't going to be able to get vision insurance until Nov 1st 2019. I had heard about the event from my daughters school and made an appointment right away. I was there along with 100 other families that day. The staff and volunteers were all so kind and helpful. They took their time to make sure each and every child was screened and fitted for glasses. The dealer would take three to five days to order what I needed. I called High Tech Auto Keys and he provided a prompt service, despite being a town away. His prices were very reasonable and his service was quick. Due to the key, the process was longer than expected. However, he provided an explanation every step of the way. She spent tons of time working on the lock and even had to make a couple trips out to her car to get additional tools. She was steadfast and did not give up. Finally after probably 45 minutes she was able to get in. I appreciate her diligence, professionalism, and lovely attitude during this ordeal.
