“Lois and Howie were so welcoming and fun! We went with my parents and got to see & learn about a lot of Coronado island. Lois and Howie are incredibly knowledgeable about the area, and had a lot of cool places to stop between restaurants. The food was delicious and you can expect a lot of it! (Don't eat before hand) We went to five places (4 entrees and one dessert) and they even treated us to mimosas! The photos I took don't even show the amount of food and variety at each place. We're from LA had never been to Coronado island before, but we left feeling full, knowledgeable, and with new friends! We definitely recommend this tour, whether you're new to the area or have been before, you'll definitely see something new, learn a lot, and get to try a bunch of really good food!”

“Stayed at Noon Lodge in August 2022. Instantly fell in love with the lodge the moment we parked. I wanted to leave this review to thank Jesus the Manager of the property for making our stay perfect. He was very sweet and accommodating, working hard to make everyone's stay perfect. One item we were hoping for was the lake access from the property. Unfortunately there is no water at the dock on the property, the lake levels have been low. Looks to have water at the dock in the winter and early spring. The grounds are beautiful and very well kept. The fire pits are turned on every evening right before sunset with plenty of seating for all guests. There is music playing on the property until 10pm that adds to the ambiance. Quiet time begins at 10pm and fires are turned off. The pool is cleaned daily and kept at a refreshing temperature although there is no spa. There are two bikes that can be used. The rooms are very cute and clean. The bed is a firm queen size with four pillows. I prefer a softer bed so I did toss and turn but this is personal preference. There is no AC in the rooms, they do provide a fan. This was not an issue for us as the evening temperatures were in the low 50s. Our room did have a fire place, some rooms did not. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook a dinner. One con we had was the shower was very small with low water pressure. Overall our stay was awesome! We are looking forward to returning! Thank you Jesus for making our new favorite lodge in Big Bear perfect!”

“We had such an awesome whitewater experience with Tahoe Whitewater Tours. We went on the Truckee River in mid August, as it was my first time, and it was a good mix of relaxing, swimming in the river at a few swimming holes and experimenting really fun rapids. It was very well organized and all the guides were fun, especially Skylar, as he made learning about the sport fun and easy to remember. Our raft guide was Izzy and she was so knowledgeable, calm and helped guide us through some tough areas and tough situations. She was funny and confident. The photographer, Chris was so awesome. They offer a thumb drive with photos and I highly recommend getting this, as you will get photos throughout your trip on a thumb drive by the end of the trip. I was very impressed how quickly he captured all the moments on the camera, organized them and got them on a thumb drive, all in time for us to take home. I highly recommend the Truckee River with Tahoe Whitewater Tours, for first timers and children, and other rivers for more experienced individuals. “I booked this vacation home for a long weekend on VRBO and it was such a great location, large comfortable space, and an amazing view! Lance the property manager is very responsive and communicates very clearly upon checking in and checking out while being contactless. Included all appliances, 5 rooms with plenty of beds, 3 bathrooms, a huge Kitchen, balcony and a smart TV that you can connect to. I’m so happy I found this place, my group enjoyed our stay and I would definitely recommend this place and would love it come back. Parking is also really easy and safe.”

“Christmas time, busy time travelling with our young children and friends. Kelley has been the best. She welcomed us in her beautiful house, perfectly located just by the beach and 3 minutes walking to downtown. The area is quiet, ideal if you want to relax, and perfect for families with young kids. The house itself is amazing, fully equipped. It is great to gather with friends, and also great if you want space and quiet time. Kelley has been super helpful and responsive, easily reachable. We would definitely rent this place again, and highly recommend it.”

“Amazing place, extremely historical and accurately depicted. We kept telling our kids that they will read about Cesar Chavez in school, they where amazed at the replica room and huge pictures. It's extraordinary what he went through and what he was willing to sacrifice for the benefit of others. Every building on the site had a significance to his story, struggles and victories. Strongly recommend it. His and his wife's Graves where actually on site as well, haven't seen that since Richard Nixons library. Very interesting and excellent place to visit with the family.”

“We stayed at the Tranquility Lodge property back in October and the overall experience was great! The house was amazing! Very quiet neighborhood and just beautiful all around. Clean, welcoming, and had a very homey feel. Plenty of space for everyone who stayed there. Heather provided wonderful customer service and was able to answer all of our questions about our stay. My only recommendation would be for them to upgrade the mattresses, the beds were very uncomfortable to sleep in and didn’t allow for a good night’s rest. Even so, I would definitely come back for another stay, the place really is just beautiful.”
