I first went to Richard Lambert Foundation in desperation after the loss of my husband 2 1/2 years ago to a short and frightening bout of lung cancer. I was greeted with such warmth and understanding along with assurance that I could take this process in my own good time. I learned I didn't have to comply with any artificial timelines or other ideas imposed by society about how to grieve. I know that I will continue to have all the support and encouragement I need for this journey at Richard Lambert.
I lost my wife to pancreatic cancer 2 1/2 years ago. At that time, a grief counselor at Denver Hospice recommended that I attend a series of meetings at the Richard Lambert Foundation. I cannot speak more highly of the amazing work this foundation provides for survivors of loss. Husband and wife, Susan and Jaime, who both experienced the loss of their son, Richard, have dedicated themselves to providing support, understanding, and a safe place to share the many emotions of grief with those going through the same. It is through that sharing, and guidance with a counselor, that true healing can begin to take place. I would encourage anyone facing the loss of a loved one to look into the Richard Lambert Foundation.
I am so thankful to have found the Richard Lambert Foundation. Susan and Karl have been so very kind and understanding. Karl is so very easy to talk to and he really understands what I am going through. He has also given me lots of good information to implement into my daily life to help get me through this. I highly recommend the Richard Lambert Foundation if you are experiencing any type of loss in your life.
So very grateful to have found the Richard Lambert Foundation when I did. During a time of the sudden loss of my nephew, I had a difficult time with insurance finding someone to help me through. Once I spoke with the staff I knew I found my grief home! The group sessions are so helpful at any time during your grief journey, the counselors are amazingly compassionate and understanding. Such a great place with a wonderful staff who will comfort you during the worst season of life to experience. I highly recommend the RLF to anyone grieving.
Richard Lambert Foundation is an exceptional organization with an exceptional leader and team. I reached out to them in July after losing my mom right before Christmas 2017. I spoke with Susan get an appointment scheduled and she immediately made me feel very comfortable. I started meeting with Rita and she changed everything for me. She is a wonderful therapist. I met w/ Rita until November along with a grief group offered by RLF and I can't put into words how much they have helped my with through my grief journey. Losing my mom changed me and they helped me embrace the new normal, even when I didn't want to. My only wish is that I would have called them sooner. If you are struggling with a loss, I cannot say enough for everyone there and I know they will help you on your journey to healing. Thank you, Susan, Rita and Karl. You changed my life am I am forever grateful.
