It's actually an ARC Thrift Store, and I LOVE IT!! They have fantastic deals all the time and I ALWAYS find something I got a great deal on!! DEFINITELY recommend!!
TO ALL THE IDIOTS WHO DUMPED THEIR TRASH HERE AFTER HOURS - CONGRATULATIONS - YOU SUCCEEDED IN CLOSING THIS THRIFT STORE.
Previous Post:
FYI: LOCATION CLOSING. I just spoke to an employee - a gentleman who said that they are no longer taking any donations because Salvation Army is pulling out of Colorado. Apparently many people are dumping items after hours and they are having to pay so much to haul it away that they are losing money. He said that they are all losing their jobs and consequently several of them will be homeless. To all those who did 'after hour dumps' because you were too lazy to take your donations somewhere else - way to go! You successfully shut down a business that is desperately needed in this area. We don't need another empty storefront.
They have always been polite and friendly when I do donation drop-offs. Last week I tried to do a donation drop off and they weren't accepting any - I asked if they could recommend anywhere else, and they politely referred me to another shop. It took me less than 5 minutes to get to the other shop and drop my donations there.
Very sad for the employees, all those who enjoy shopping here, and our community. :(
I disagree. Any day I've gone I've found great items. You just have to look for the color tag and special for that day like any other thrift store. Go on sale days and the prices are really reasonable. I went there yesterday which was a "50% off everything in the store" day and found vintage Strawberry Shortcake collectibles (I sell vintage toys on eBay) $2.50 for the whole bag, huge nerf guns for my son for just over $1, and bags of collectible pins and magnets that had well over 50 items each in them for $2. Yes the collectible red tags are over priced, but if you are patient and have time to look combined with the sales you can find some really great things. I'm going back there today. They are having a sale on all kids clothes 2 for $1. I don't think you'll find that at the mile high or the others. Most of the time not even at yard sales anymore. I never usually leave reviews, but saw the other's and wanted to say that has not been my experience at all. I think it's just as good as the other thrift stores around here and hate to see them get bad reviews from impatient people who don't know what to look for. They've always been super nice and courteous to me, price my items right away if they have no tag, and are friendly on the way in and on the way out.
