(July 14, 2020, 5:57 pm)My husband and I decided to have a home birth last minute (34 weeks) due to the whole COVID-19 chaos! And it was by far the best decision we made. Even though for the first part of my pregnancy I was going to my doctor for all check ups but the moment we meet Katie I realized how unprepared and clueless I was to everything that has to do with giving birth. Katie was amazing!! We as first time parents enjoyed every step of our pregnancy, birth and postpartum experience thanks to Katie and Shalom! It was the ideal experience to have as a first time mom, the support was above and beyond! We will now be contacting Sierra Madre midwifery for the future pupils!!

(June 17, 2020, 5:34 pm)My first pregnancy was pretty scary, having to deal with the fact that she might have to be born via cesarean, which she was. But throughout the whole experience Kattie was there, giving me encouragement, telling me everything is going to be okay, and just being there for support, which we really needed. With my second pregnancy my husband and I decided to try for a natural birth with Kattie again. And of course we had our fears, we had our doubts, we had many thoughts about how this baby might be born via cesarean again, but we trusted our midwifes and they calmed all of these feelings with encouragement. We took it one visit at a time and in the end everything went great! My newest baby was born naturally, and it could not have gone more smoothly. My husband and I are so thankful that we had Kattie and Shalom to help us calm all of those feelings, they were so amazing throughout the entire process. They love my girls so much and have built an amazing relationship with both of them, I would not want to have it any other way.

She is so attentive, educated and truly cares about you, your baby and your family as a whole. Her heart is in her profession for sure! We're so grateful we went this route this time having a midwife. Definitely recommend her!

(February 6, 2017, 4:56 pm)I had a wonderful experience with Kattie Jones, she was so professional, had so much knowledge, always seemed to be ahead of the game. She was so good at explaining my questions and addressing my concerns. I had a really big baby (11lbs) and she worked with me so well I didn't even need one stitch. She has been such a great midwife, I hope to have all my babies with her.
