Hana Matsuri Sushi

Amazing sushi, amazing service and hasnt changed over the years! Always consistent! Want to try the other places in the plaza but always end up here its so good! :)

My fiance and I have been coming to this sushi restaurant about since we moved to Broomfield three years ago. They have always been consistently better than ANY other sushi place I've had, despite being a landlocked state. The servers always recognize us as regulars and greet us as such every time.

This particular evening though was absolutely above and beyond. The sever was filling our water glasses at the bar. I went to lift my glass over my cocktail, and accidentally knocked over the cocktail (hey, it happens). They proceeded to not only replace my cocktail (that I knocked over) and the roll that could have the possibility of glass shards, but also remade a roll I had already finished AND provided another bottle of sake that was completely unrelated. I'm not saying that this is the standard/expectation of service, but WOW it's appreciated and doesn't go unnoticed. Thank you very much for the service this evening, your food is always amazing and we looking forward to continue dining here in the future!

Delicious specialty rolls! They were super happy to help us with a take out order just a handful of minutes before closing, and it made our night! We really liked Mango Tango and Hamachi Orange, but everything else was great too! They are running a promotion right now in June of '23 for free hot sake! All in all a great place to eat

Hidden gem alert! Really delicious sushi, excellent service and great selection of creative sushi rolls. The spicy edamame is delicious but HOT LOL You've been warned! We literally died over the spicy bincho roll with Yuzu sauce, it melted in your mouth ! The dragon roll and mango tango were also delicious, very high quality of fish for being just outside Denver proper. More affordable than some joints in the city too, with a wide variety of choices. Definitely give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

First, this was the freshest seafood I have ever had in the Midwest. Considering I live in New England, with fresh seafood regularly straight from the ocean, I know that fresh taste. This was magnificent!

Second, let's talk service. Anna, host and waitress, got us seated fast, was friendly, had great but unobtrusive conversation with us and delivered food perfectly and quickly.

Now, the food. Oh my, we ordered the Seared Tuna Roll ($17), Big Daddy Roll ($17), Sweet Potato Roll ($7), Mango Tango Roll ($16), Hamachi Orange Roll ($16) and tea ($2.50/ea). And, it was all ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! My personal favorite was the Seared Tuna Roll, which sat in a marinade of its own juices and sauce. The cilantro was a perfect addition, not overpowering the natural taste of the seared tuna. And the buttery tataki sauce...my mouth is watering again and I just finished eating. I am still racing and I am STUFFED!

Which reminds me, it is the perfect amount for a light and filling lunch, leaving you full comfortably and still able to walk out the door with ease.

Note to the wise: tea is served properly hot, at burn your tongue temperature, so let it sit a sec.

Overall, I am definitely making this a norm for every visit to Denver, CO. Well worth the visit. I think this just made my top 5 worldwide sushi places!
