Community Reach Center Walk-In Crisis Center at Neighborhood Health Center

I don't know if this is 24 hours or not (I always thought it was), but I went there during the day, so I guess I have no way of actually knowing. I was on my way to work one day and decided I was either going to kill myself or drive to this place, so went here instead. They asked me to fill out some paperwork and got me in to speak with a counselor in a reasonable amount of time. They offered to let me stay if I feel like I needed to but we were able to create a safety plan with my family watching over me instead. I was not charged for their services even though I had Kaiser and they did not accept Kaiser. They helped schedule follow up services. Its unfortunate that others had bad experiences but if you really need help, please don't let their experience deter you from seeking help.

So far so good. Took my brother there for mental crisis and alcohol abuse. I haven't heard from anyone yet sense I left but the staff were attentive and helpful. If I hear from them tonight I will be very pleased. Like I said so far so good.

First time I wrote a review for this place but had three experiences here. First one was for me and they helped me and my parents when nobody else would. The other two times were for my wife. 1st time they helped us out and got her into a program that helped... the follow up kinda sucked on our part but today the helped us out again. Diana and faith helped us today and I believe they were tje ones that helped me during my crisis. Great people that really care about you and try to help you. It does take a long time sometimes but its not there fault. I know its easy to write a bad review when your feeling down already but they really do wanna help. Hope more people write there experience even if its not perfect
