Great little pull-off and strech your legs hiking trail. Follows the boulder creek and can be walked to from the town.
Great option for an easy hiking! I went during winter time and could check a lot of nature and walk over frozen Rivers! It is about a mile and a half walk.
We are tourists and just wanted to feel like we could take a nice walk in the mountains without the strenuous hike. Boulder Canyon Trail provided that. We brought our jogger stroller for our toddler to ride in and it wasn't terribly bumpy but there were a couple rough patches. Got here here on a nice early October day and saw some rock climbers too for some entertainment.
Took a short hike down to the creek with my wife and 3 yr old son. It was a beautiful spot right off the climbers trail. We skipped rocks and waded in the calmer spots. Great spot to have a picnic or just hang out listening to the water and seeing all the birds.
Absolutely awesome place to visit. We took our grandson there for rock climbing but noticed many others fishing and hiking. Very pet friendly and the walk along the river is magnificent. Watch out for bikers who love coming both up and down the mountain. A great relaxing get away.
