(November 29, 2018, 9:39 am)So close to Boulder and Arvada/Golden yet so remote. This area is worth the less than 30 minute drive from either area. The county road loses it pavement just before entering the town of Eldorado Springs and once in the park there is a minor improvement. Mind the huge potholes and ripples on the road. The entrance fee is $8 per car or $3 per walk-in person. The park is open Dawn to Dusk. In the winter that means you should be leaving by 430p. The area is famous for rock climbing and the Eldorado Springs pool that dates back to the early 20th century. Check the visitor center for the history of the area. Enjoy!
