(March 14, 2018, 6:19 pm)I've been going to Sam since about 2003 - even though I moved to Portland, OR in 2006! Sam is the most talented stylist I've ever met, and I'm so happy to be able to recommend her here.
(February 4, 2018, 1:04 pm)I love going in to Amore. Sam is so good at what she does. Her hair coloring is amazing, I love the more natural dyes she uses that don't smell at all, and she creates such a natural look. I'm always happy with my hair cut and her styling is great too. She goes above and beyond with a shoulder massage, various beverages she offers, and her caring and kindness. She carries great products, both for hair, but skin as well. My 3 year old loves his soap we get from Amore too. The hair studio is a very inviting, clean and beautiful space. And of course Sam herself is such a wonderful person. I always feel completely taken care of when I go in. It's feels like a treat to get my hair done!
(October 21, 2017, 2:13 pm)The ONLY true organic hair salon in Boulder. Unique 1-1 boutique style care still exists here. Bright, clean small salon with aloe or sage based products. After 30 years of toxic chemicals I made a smooth transition to organic products and couldn't be happier or healthier.
