Pinewood Church

God shows up at Pinewood Church! This is an excellent community of caring, loving people who are all about meeting people where they are and pointing them to Jesus.

I'm so grateful to have found Pinewood. I was cautiously optimistic after attending my first Sunday service at Casey Middle School. Everyone was so kind and welcoming, but I wasn't sure what exactly Pinewood believed. I came to find out that Pinewood believes in the Bible, showing up to serve others, building a church on love and faith, and giving the glory to God.

Pinewood is home for me and my family. Come as you are and experience the Lord's healing, loving gentleness in your life with a community of wonderful believers!

In a city that can tend to be more isolated, this place is home. My first time visiting here I knew no one and I left with so many phone numbers and people reaching out to me later in the week inviting me to more! Ever since being here I’ve been encouraged and challenged in my faith through Biblical teaching, or the valuable mentors I’ve been honored to sit under. I’ve found accountability, abilities and skills I never thought possible, and most importantly, a strengthened faith.

A group of imperfect people who are serious about making Jesus Lord over every part of their life.

If for some reason I had to leave Boulder tomorrow, I know I would leave better than I came through being a part of Pinewood Church and their Jesus centered mission.

I moved to Boulder last year and being in a new country, I was searching for a church. The first time I visited Pinewood, it just felt like home. The people are so welcoming, kind, genuine, intentional about connecting and love God.
It's such a beautiful community with people whose hearts are evidently seeking after God and not just church membership or anything else. Being in Pinewood for this one year has taught me a lot about what a church should be: serving the city, loving the community and challenging each other to grow more in love with Jesus.

I started coming to Pinewood after COVID, and after not consistently attending church for a few years. I stepped in not knowing anyone but my roommate, and immediately felt something different about this church compared to anything I had experienced before. The people here are welcoming, authentic, and real, and their focus truly is on Jesus- nothing else. I've been coming now for over a year, and I feel more deeply connected in my faith and to the church community than I have in any season of my life. Getting involved in serving in the church (and in outreach in the city), studying the word in small groups, and supporting others/being supported by others here has transformed me and encouraged me more than I can say. Pinewood is a place where you can find hope, growth, and home, and discover more of who Jesus is with every sermon, worship song, and conversation. I can't see myself anywhere else, and I'm so thankful for how God has brought me back to His church.

Pinewood has been such a blessing to me. We moved to Boulder knowing absolutely no one, but we made a home very quickly at Pinewood! We love these people, the community they have developed, how much they love and care for us, and we love our Riverside location! I cannot recommend this church enough 💖
