  Strong hippie vibe here, which I loved. I aspire to someday be able to embrace my inner zen but I'm a driven, travel all the time, high stress business woman. Due to my reality, I've messed up my shoulder something fierce. It's from dragging a huge carry on bag with me from flight after flight; I'm adamantly against checking bags.
  
  When I made my appointment, I might have been....unrealistically....expecting a miracle. My mother is a die hard acupuncture enthusiast and when I was little, she took me in for appointments (at another place) to help me with my allergies. I still have allergies but they are not nearly as bad as when I was a child. Sooooo.......I assumed that acupuncture is a cure all.
  
  Parking here is a breeze. The sliding scale payment option makes it much more affordable to try it out. Once I had checked in, I was instructed to enter the community room, where there are many comfy looking chairs to pick from. There was one woman with needles in and eyes closed but other than that, it appeared empty. Caroline approached me and we spoke in whispers about what was bothering me. She gave me the choice of laying on a table, where she could pull privacy curtains around me, or I could pick one of the chairs. Since I was okay with taking my shirt off, I chose the table.
  
  Caroline has wonderful energy and I felt immediately at ease with whatever she suggested. She inserted needles in my shoulder, ankles, and one of my fingers. She also used some kind of electrical stimulation also. She then left me laying on my side for about a half hour. The electrical zings became uncomfortable and the needle in my hand was super painful if I moved but other than that, the rest of the needles went unnoticed. I was able to doze off for a few minutes a couple of times and then that was that. End of session.
  
  Sadly for me, I went home in more pain than I came in with. It could just be a coincidence..... but I ended up cancelling my next appointment. That being said, I did enjoy the experience and wish I had the patience to see if a couple of sessions would actually work for my shoulder pain.

  I have been receiving treatment at Lefthand for the last three months. I came to Caroline's Community Acupuncture with post traumatic disorder, from having experienced a devastating hurricane and by inhaling carbon monoxide from many running electric generators. Caroline has an extraordinary sensitivity to connect with people, and with applying treatment that really supports health. I am very aware about how her treatment is helping my kidneys, heart, lungs, brain and liver immensively.

  I have never used or even considered acupuncture for some of the issue I have. Then I was like, it won't hurt to try it out... it's be done thousands of years with very positive results. So I found Left Hand Community Acupuncture on Google. I set up a next day appointment. The specialist I worked with was so AMAZING and kind. The atmosphere was very relaxing. I asked to be treated for two issues, so I laid down on a comfortable table, she did her thing and said we would do this for 25 minutes. She checked on me twice every five minutes. The next think I remember, she was waking me up. I felt refreshed and wide awake with none of the felt none of the issues I asked for her to help with. I will say without a doubt, and on the first visit EVER, she addressed was i was suffering from. Please if you suffer with chronic issues or whatever... Please GO TO MEET and be treated by this wonderful team at Left Hand Community Acupuncture. You WILL BE pleasantly pleased with how much they really care about you and your health. I GIVE THEM FIVE STARS!!!!!!!

  I am a regular client, and the care I receive there is top notch. I come in tense or not feeling well, but I leave feeling relaxed, with more energy and a sense of overall well being. I highly recommend Left Hand Acupuncture!

  I've been to all 3 locations in which Left Hand has operated and I think they keep getting better. The care has always been stellar and the atmosphere always calm. But this new location is the best yet. More room. Better aesthetics. And even though it's 'community' style acupuncture, there are many options for full privacy. It's my first choice for Acupuncture in Boulder County.
