This store is a saving grace to this small mountain community, stocking outdoor gear at very reasonable prices for men, women and children. I have shopped here so many times, especially for women's outdoor work clothes but also for my son on his many outdoor excursions as well as for gifts. John's clever and positive personality has him stocking used gear as well as comic relief items. He is dedicated to local artisans as well!

A fun store to shop in! Lots of outdoor gear from high tech, super functional to fun whimsical items. They carry pretty much anything you need (or forgot) for outdoor camping and hiking. Reasonable prices too. The owner and staff are always very friendly and knowledgeable.

I've been shopping here since before they opened. Wandered in one day with my kids and bought a bunch of gear. John is professional, courteous, kind and extremely knowledgeable of all local trails and back country options. Highly recommend checking it out on your next trip to Nederland!
