  Surprisingly good BBQ for Colorado. It was some of the best pulled pork I've ever had. The hot links were also quite good.
  
  The brisket was decent but didn't blow me away. The chili mac and fried okra were both great.
  
  The local beer selection was quite nice. The Left Hand Nitro Milk Stout was particularly amazing.
  
  I don't think I liked the boiled peanuts but I had never had them before. Maybe they're just not my thing.

  When the meat stands up on its own without sauce, you know you're in the right place. Great food, excellent selection of sides. Will definitely be back again the next time we're in Colorado!

  Local and small restaurants are the best. I love their pulled pork as well as their smoked wings. The buffalo sauce is hot enough for the kick but mild enough to enjoy. The selection of their signature BBQ sauce is outstandingly delicious. While you are waiting they have boiled peanuts that are good. It's awesome that you can buy by the pound in case you want some for the week. Would definitely recommend.

  Food was amazing! The meat fell right apart so delicious and very tasteful! The service was outstanding and very helpful! Amazing views of the mountains and river. They also have outside patio seating overlooking the river.

  Smokin Yard’s is on of the go to iconic Idaho springs eats. Food is always killer and staff is always friendly. Try the Wednesday special, you won’t be disappointed.
  
  Also, $2 PBRs and a patio... best price in town. The owners Scott and Andrew always seem to have a smile on their face!
