This was a dining experience that I will not soon forget. The food was exquisite. Our table wasn’t ready when we arrived for our reservation and they sat us at the chef table in the interim with the option of moving when it was ready. We ended up eating our entire meal at the chef table and it was the best experience- we got to taste a little bit of everything that was going out of the kitchen: All the dips, sauces, and even some deserts . Mark, the appetizer and dessert chef kept us entertained and extremely well fed. This was a 10/10 dining experience and probably the best food we ate during our trip in Denver. Definitely coming back if we are back in town.
Stand out dishes were the garlic dip and pita bread and the lamb sausage. The pork cheeks were also perfectly cooked.
The table next to us got the paella and I was a little jealous because it looked so delicious and topped with an insane amount of seafood. Definitely trying that next time.
The restaurant has cool vibes and killer view although parking was difficult to find in the area.
A local suggested we come by El Five for dinner. We were lucky and snagged a dinner reservation the day we went, 20 minutes before we got there! We sat on the patio and enjoyed a view of Denver while we tried a variety of tapas. The staff was friendly and recommended great dishes. We were touched by the sweet card they left on our table as well! We really enjoyed this spot and highly recommend it.
We came here on our last night in town and HOLY SMOKES it was amazing. We were in Denver celebrating our wedding anniversary and this was one of our "must try" restaurants. I made reservations weeks in advance (they fill up fast, so reserve early).
If you can, get a seat by the window. It's a gorgeous view over the city, especially at sunset.
As for the food, the tapas were delicious and perfect for sharing. We had the Lebanese dip, goat cheese croquettes, and rabbit confit while we waited on the paella and each one was spectacular.
The paella was unbelievably good. We had a ton left over and its even better reheated the next day. Seriously, the trip was worth it for the paella alone!
Their wine list is also outstanding and they have an artisan cocktail list with innovative options.
The service was impeccable and we never wanted for anything. This is definitely a place I'll visit again when we're back in town!
5 star spot. This place is definitely a must visit while in Denver. The decor and atmosphere is very vibrant. The food is just sooooo good. Make sure to order a bunch of stuff and share. And they make some amazing cocktails. It is also a bonus that they offer a great rooftop view of the city. Also feel free to sit at the bar and have some really amazing conversations with the bartenders.
Wonderful experience all around! Visited from New York for the weekend and this was one of the places a friend recommended. Happy to say we weren’t disappointed! Easy to book online, the atmosphere was very modern while remaining intimate. The food was delicious and came out very quickly. Rudy our server was awesome and elevated the entire experience. The rest of the staff was very knowledgeable of the dishes they brought us and extremely helpful. 10/10.
