(March 10, 2023, 1:51 pm)Fantastic Family owned business! Rob (Rabi) is very helpful and thorough with the cars he works on. I was trying to find a replacement used car and got a used 2000 Subaru legacy outback from them with a fresh EJ20 engine swap. You can tell immediately just looking at the quality of every truck on their lot that they they really care about what they are doing.
Unfortunately a few days after I pulled off the lot, one of the O2 sensors turned out to be faulty. He changed it for free and gave me great advice on how to help the car last longer.
I’d definitely come back and buy another car from them, but I doubt that’ll happen soon because I’m sure the car I just got is going to last me a long time. Go check them out especially if your looking for 4Runners or Tacoma’s!
(March 7, 2023, 6:28 pm)My 1989 Toyota Hilux is a Japanese import that I was initially having the hardest time passing emissions after I purchased it. That is until I found Shift Automotive!
The two brothers that own Shift are extremely knowledgeable and I felt right away that they were committed to help me solve my problem. The Hilux is a model that has never been sold in the states so finding parts is next to impossible, but Rabi (one of the owners) went out of his way to procure what was needed, far-exceeding my expectations of a repair shop. But Shift Automotive is a special place, one I would recommend to anyone for either repair work or for the purchase of a used vehicle - and I'd recommend Shift without a second's hesitation!
After a few tweaks to my truck (in order to account for the difference in American and Japanese markets when it comes to emission testing standards) we got it to pass and I was finally able to register without another hitch! I have Shift Automotive to thank for this.

And he was thorough in describing the vehicle- as I was an out of state buyer. They even set up shipping to my door. Love my new Tacoma and all the fine touches. Thanks.
(December 1, 2022, 10:17 am)I am very happy with the Tacoma that I purchased from Rob at Shift Auto. The Truck is a dream-and the overall buying experience was stress free.
I have been looking to build an off-road-rig for a while. While I was looking for a used Pickup or SUV to start with I came across Shift Automotive. Rob walked me through their process. Showed me what they have in their inventory and even showed me vehicles in their storage que. I fell in love with this 96 Tacoma they had that was virtually rust free and in great overall condition.
Then Rob went to work. He sat down with me and took notes on all the work I wanted to have done and recommended some work as-well. Full communication with him through out the build as they sourced all the parts for me. He was very receptive with any of my questions and recommendations that I had regarding the build. They communicated with all the vendors, Stuck to their estimates and updated as we changed a few things along the way. Full transparency as there where no surprises.
This Shop helped me build my dream truck.Their work is top notch and its nice to find a place that cares about delivering a great product! They made it happen. I will keep coming back for all my services! Thank you Rob and team.
(November 26, 2022, 9:48 pm)Purchased a 4runner from this establishment. Can’t say enough how much I love it! I have owned it for two years now and it’s been running strong without any problems. Have countless trips to the mountains. Has seen all kinds of weather. It has never let me down. Recently have returned for some services and upgrades. These guys are great and they know their stuff. I highly recommend Shift Automotive. Especially if you are looking for a third gen 4runner.
