Neptune's Tropical Fish

Have been coming here for years and have never had a bad experience. The people there are always super nice and offer good insights and tips on the fish your purchasing or want to purchase. I recommend this place to anyone with a fish hobby as they have a very wide selection and very friendly staff.

I have literally been coming here ever since I was a child and they never disappoint. I love how they take quarantining their fish seriously unlike a lot of other fish stores. Every plant I have gotten here has always done well, same with the fish and shrimp. Even when they're busy you don't have to wait long to be helped. Wide selection of rocks and driftwood too which is awesome. Basically they have always had what i needed.

Nice shop, mostly clean tanks. The issue I have is when they get "new" fish stock in, they quarantine their tanks for 5 day, I understand this. However when this this takes 50%+ of their sale tanks out of commission that's not good for sales/customers. Maybe they need dedicated quarantine tanks in the back of store if room. This store is better than most and could improve.

Neptune's is probably the best fish store in the Denver metro area, especially if you're looking for freshwater fish or plants. Their saltwater selection is also very solid. They are very careful to quarantine new fish and will not sell fish if they don't believe they are healthy. They also have a great selection of rocks and driftwood and other decor. Their prices can sometimes be a bit higher than your big box retailers, but it's well worth it if you want healthy fish! I would recommend them to anyone who wants knowledgeable staff and healthy livestock.
