The faculty really does look out for you and unless you break the rules, they always have smiles on their faces and are grateful to work there. It has some of the best teachers in the state and has some of the best business and performing arts programs in the state. There are so many opportunities to learn and to grow here. If you are looking at a place to go to for school and you're moving into the area, I highly recommend looking into Legend High School. You will never regret that decision, take it from a graduate of the school that came in needing a lot of help and then was able to help get my academics back on track with the help of my administrators and teachers. So, please look into Legend High School, and start writing your Legend today!

(December 23, 2016, 1:41 pm)This is from my experience at this school freshmen to senior year (2012-2016) now as a college student.
The school is in a great part of town and doesn't have any funding related issues that I know of.
This school has a huge focus on preparing their students for college. It felt like every class was taught in order to help the student prepare for college, especially the AP/Honors classes.
Sadly, I have mostly heard bad things and little good things about the councilors, however I have no personal experience with them.
The teachers overall are great at teaching their material, I never had any issues with them.
The students are much more well behaved than they were in middle school, some are still rowdy, and is very apparent during the first semester every year, but it's not a huge issue.
The only issues I had with the staff tend to be in the back of the main office, like some of which that work under financial aid, some, but not all tend to handle situations that aren't as mature or respectful as I would expect from a staff member.
The teaching style this school uses is absolutely great as long as the student has a desire to push themselves to be the best they can be, and is great for preparing for college, however, if the student goes to this school and doesn't try their best or doesn't care, it's an above average high school.
To sum it up, overall, this school is great. There are some issues that need to be addressed by the staff. If a student is willing to push them self to be the best they can be, it's a great school to go to and will help prepare the student go to college.
