“I had a great experience with my new puppy's first vet visit at Alpenview! The lady at the front desk was very welcoming and friendly. The vet assistant, India, was also very friendly and helped my puppy feel more comfortable. Dr, Koenig gave my puppy a gentle and thorough exam. My puppy immediately felt comfortable and was running around the entire office checking out the other dogs, cat, and staff members. My puppy received a vaccine and didn't notice it due to the doctor and his assistant distracting him. I chose Alpenview due to its location and online reviews and am very happy with my decision. Overall, I had a great first experience and will return for follow-up appointments. My puppy left feeling very comfortable and will not be scared when we return in 3 weeks.”

Dr. Sidel helped us created an integrated treatment plan to support our mini dachshund Oscar in decreasing his reactivity around people and other dogs. When we first started with Behavior Vets, Oscar would react in the moment and for hours after seeing a trigger. It was so tough for him and for all of us. Once we had a plan in place, we focused on positive reinforcement and environmental changes that helped Oscar discover that the world (with all the people and dogs in it) is actually a lot of fun. “With Two cats, you have twice the worry when it comes to trips to the vet. There is such an obvious caring within the walls of this place that it quickly melts your defenses. When you enter and sign in, you are quickly taken to your own private room where you can chill and start calming your kitty. Over the course of our 7 years we have relied heavily on the Cat Specialsts. They return calls, set quick appoinments and offer true compassion when needed. We had to finally let go of our baby but two years ago when he got his diagnosis of Intestinal Lymphoma, we thought it was the end. But we were given these chemo pills and told that if they work, we could get another two years out of him as a healthy cat. --- To my immense skepticism ---IT WORKED and Xander came back to "the Living" just like the old days. We got time to spoil him even more!! We put him to sleep just a few days ago and the entire staff wrote the most loving personal note like the really remembered him. Thank you Cat Specialist and a special call out to Dr Lavallee and Breanna, For their extra lovin' during our tough times.”

“Have gotten vaccines here in the past, but went to Meridian for the highly regarded pet dental services I hear they provide there. At almost all clinics, the bulk of the dental cleaning is performed by a nurse, so selecting a highly experienced/highly regarded certified dental nurse (under the direction of of a veterinarian of course) was at the top of my list. Meridian is one of the few clinics that check this box. So booked a pre-dental exam. They patiently answered all of my questions. The doctor did an excellent job administering vaccines to my 8 pound pet. My pet did not have any of the very very common soreness later on, which was pleasantly surprising. Booked a full dental procedure which will occur in a few weeks. Pricing is middle of the pack for South Denver/Highlands Ranch. Service levels are high. The office is very clean. And unlike some clinics that are still hiding from clients with curbside-only services, Meridian is open for business. Overall, highly recommended.”

“We recently took our 4 year old wooly husky here for a grooming session and were very nervous because he had never been professionally groomed before, was super matted on his belly and is extremely sensitive about being brushed/groomed. However, the grooming manager, Jill, was absolutely INCREDIBLE at answering all of our questions beforehand and handling him during the apt when he was definitely not the easiest dog to deal with. We cannot believe how good he looked and felt after his grooming session. Jill got out every tangle and he is the softest he’s been since he was a puppy. Cannot recommend Jill enough!”

“Dr. Abernathy is amazing! We originally took our dog to a different Vet to get him check for a growth under his thigh. The Vet told us that it could be cancer and they needed to do a biopsy. We did the biopsy and they couldn't give us a definite answer and suggested removal. The quote they gave us was for $1200!!! We wanted to get it removed right away but didn't have that kind of money on hand. We decided to wait a couple months to save up but in the meantime got a second opinion from Sunrise and what a pleasant surprise! Dr. Abernathy said he didn't think it was cancer but also suggested removal to the tune of $350!!! We scheduled the appointment the following week and the growth never came back. Dr. Abernathy is so great with dogs and very reasonably priced IMO. He genuinely cares about his animals and we will never go elsewhere as long as he is in business!”
