  We had a great trip to Glen Eyrie! We started with a tour that included a lot of general Colorado Springs history and saw the amazing castle. Then we had a tea in the music room! It was beautiful, the food was delicious, and we had a great time. We ended the afternoon at the bookstore which is part of the history of the land too.

  This place is very historic and very pretty. There are many hikes to be done in the area surrounding it that are pretty easy and offer good views.
  
  The castle itself is very pretty and has many things to discover. The layout of the building is strange, but offers very cool nooks and crannies.
  
  I've stayed here twice now, and while I wouldn't write home with the catered meals I had, the service has always been very good and the lodges are very nice.

  It's a great experience and breakfast is super good. The people are really nice all around. There are a few annoying nuances like curtains that don't work and toilets that will run without jiggling, but...it's a castle...in America! It was well worth the stay! Would like to do it again in the summer so we can walk the trails without freezing to death.
