Lane Mitchell Jewelers Manitou Springs

I found this jewelry shop by accident while on vacation to Colorado Springs. A few months ago, my mother lost her watch of 30 plus years. She wore it every day! I asked if the jeweler could re-create it from looking at some old photographs. Did he ever! The watch looks exactly like the original! In fact, my Mom almost likes this one better. Fantastic job! Shipment was sent out as promised! Highly recommend!

So, I go into Lane Mitchell Jewelers in Manitou Springs. I’m wearing a vintage piece necklace by “Buddy Lee.” The necklace is a substantial piece and highly collectible. Unfortunately, Buddy Lee just recently passed away. So, the art world has truly lost a legend. Anyway, the owner of the shop was familiar with his work and was fiddling with it. He said, “did you know that someone soldered the mask so it doesn’t open?” Long story short…left the piece there and he fixed it. Now I can open the mask and it reveals a face carved in turquoise…just beautiful!! How cool is that?? Buddy Lee’s pieces are always unique. What a great job they did. Love the store and their staff!

Well lit and displayed merchandise. Friendly knowledgeable staff. The store employs well trained jewelers and has a well equipped modern shop. Huge inventory of loose stones and merchandise. When Lane moved his store he did it rite.

Megan and Brenda are simply awesome. Explained what I was looking for and they found perfect pieces for my very particular daughter-in-law. Friendly, helpful and amazing! Made me feel right at home!!!

Very impressed with this shop. The atmosphere is perfect, cozy and classy without being over the top. Lane and his staff are lovely people and make for wonderful company. Pretty much anything you could ever desire as far as gemstones, they will have or can get. Very knowledgeable and hospitable people. A pleasure doing business, I’ll be back :)
