Black Forest Foods Cafe & Deli

Black Forest Foods Cafe & Delicatessens is by far the best deli I have ever been to across the United States. Everything on their menu is incredible so order to your hearts desire. If you find yourself in the Pikes National forest area head over to the tiny town of Monument and visit this hiden gem and if you live local you should be eating here everyday.

My wife and I ordered a Thanksgiving dinner for two and it was outstanding! Everything was extremely delicious and well made. Looking forward to picking up Christmas dinner if you guys are doing that this year? Thank you for making our Thanksgiving special!

This family owned cafe is a gem. Homemade & chef quality food especially their soups & desserts. The burgers are fresh, not frozen meat. The owners (father & son) provide such excellent customer service and all their foods are chef quality with affordable prices.

Seriously- this is my favorite deli of all time.

Wow! We joined some friends for brunch on Wednesday and enjoyed it so much, we went back the next day! The breakfast burrito is really big enough for two (but you won’t want to share) - I had the green chili with mine and it was delicious.

The lattes are piping hot and not overly sweet. They offer a vast array of sandwich and burger options along with some beautiful salads. The deli counter had a great variety of meats and cheeses. The baked goods are very tempting and they do have gluten free options. They use organic meats in the burgers and stews. We took some goulash and broccoli cheddar soup as well as sourdough and marbled rye home for dinner. I’d give everything we’ve tried a perfect 10. I highly recommend stopping in and we’ll be back on our next trip to Colorado. Thank you Gragos and crew - all knowledgeable and very helpful!
