UCHealth Emergency Care - Pikes Peak Regional Hospital

Took a nasty fall Friday. Visiting from out of state.
The team on staff got me right in, diagnosed situation, had ex rays in no time and patched me up. Exemplary in every way. Thank you Dr Kirkpatrick, Sara, Hannah, Sabrina and Patrick. You took scary away!

UCHealth was great. We are on vacation and my daughter, who is severely autistic, had an unexpected health need. The ER staff was very helpful and competent to handle a special visitor.

NOTE: Google Map directions are WRONG! The hospital is north of town (very easy to spot), NOT south. Use any other map service to reach this hospital. Thank goodness we didn’t have a dire emergency. Google would’ve put us at severe risk. Google: FIX THIS!

We are new to the area and I was extremely impressed with the quality of care I received. I went in for a suspected heart attack and the staff were incredibly kind, calm, professional, and incredibly competent. From the intake person to the security guard to the nurses to the ER doctor, everyone was fabulous. They explained what was happening, they explained what they were looking at, they were available for questions, and at no point did I feel I was being rushed. I received truly stellar care. I can’t say that I’m exactly looking forward to going back! But if I ever have to, I know I will be in excellent hands and I won’t worry.
