I dont think we could say enough about Mr. Lloyd Harwood. We had to come to Cañon City suddenly and unexpectedly from South Carolina due to the tragic sudden death of my brother, Phillip Roberts, who was killed in the Pueblo coal plant landslide. Initially we were referred to another funeral home in this town, but after getting conflicting information, the run-around, and no call-backs from them, we called Mr. Harwood. He was the one who answered the phone, answered immediatly, helped me immediately, assured me that he could have the funeral services taken care of this week, and he did exactly that. It was a beautiful service and he took care of the program, the sound, video recording, obituary, programs for the guests, the guest book, and getting everything setup….. in one day. He did it all in one day. We gave him little to no time because we were traveling from so far and he took care of everything perfectly. On top of everything, he was so kind. Just a fantastic place and Im so happy my brother was able to have a service that was beautiful and respectful.
When my cat, Woogie passed in October, I brought him home to Pueblo West and called Sam. He arranged a time to come to my house and pick him up. He treated me with kindness and cared so much about Woogie. This is not the first time I have needed Harwood for cremation of my beloved pets and I am sure it will not be the last. The paw print is so special and the wood urn is beautifully engraved! Thank you so much for al you do!
I cannot explain the gratitude I have for Harwood Funeral. Their customer service is beyond the scope of customer service expectations. They truly care about each person that comes through their doors. Their compassion is unmatched by any other business. I wish I never had to use their business again, but sadly, I know that is out of my hands. When that time does come again, I will know without a doubt they will have my business!
